Due to the observance of the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day holiday on Friday, December 22nd and Monday, December 25th, the garbage and recycling collection schedule will be changed. Friday’s garbage will be collected starting at 7 AM and be completed by noon. There will be no collection on Monday, December 25th. Collection will be moved back one day and collected Tuesday, December 26th to Saturday, December 30th.
The City of Mitchell Regional Landfill will close at noon on Friday, December 22nd. The landfill will be open on Saturday, December 23rd from 8 AM-1 PM and reopen on Tuesday, December 26th at 7:30 AM. The schedule may change due to inclement weather.
