PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Attorney General Marty Jackley is officially running for Congress. He announced his bid Tuesday in his hometown of Sturgis, joining State Senator Casey Crabtree in the Republican race to replace Congressman Dusty Johnson, who’s running for governor. Jackley, now serving his fourth term as AG, says his experience has prepared him for Washington and vows to be a strong conservative voice. He plans to focus his campaign on public safety, border security, the economy, and holding the federal government accountable. Jackley still has over a year left in his AG term but says he can balance both roles with the support of his staff.
