Davison County Emergency Management Director Jeff Bathke plans to run for the South Dakota House of Representatives in District 20. The issue is on today’s Davison County Commission agenda as a request to run for the office. Bathke, who is also the county’s Planning and Zoning Administrator, is a native of Plankinton and a graduate of USD. He has served in both roles for the county since 2013.
Today’s Davison County Commission meeting is scheduled for 9 AM at the North Offices building on North Main Street in Mitchell. It is open to the public.
