Monday’s Basketball Games

  • James Valley Christian vs Kimball/White Lake at 10:30am (girls – Huron Holiday Classic)
  • White River vs McCook Central/Montrose at 11:30am (boys – Hoop City Classic)

Mitchell

The (RV) Kernel girls basketball team returns to action on Monday in the Hoop City Classic. They will host Lyman in the World’s Only Corn Palace in the midst of their Christmas Break. The game is set to begin at approximately 4pm. (could be slightly delayed due to earlier games)

The Mitchell Marlins hockey teams each have games over the Christmas holiday weekend. It starts with the boys on Friday, Dec. 26 when they travel to face Brookings. The game will be played at Larson Ice Center – Red Rink with the puck dropping at 8pm. The girls will play Saturday, Dec. 27 on the road against Aberdeen. They’ll play at the Odde Ice Arena – Odde Rink, with the puck dropping at Noon.

DWU

The Tiger men’s basketball team returns to the court on Monday, Dec. 29. They’ll travel to Bismarck, ND to face Bismarck State. They’ll play at Bismarck high school and tipoff will be at 6pm.

SDSU

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team will be taking on No. 1 Arizona when they play next. They’ll be in Tucson, AZ on Monday, Dec. 29 with tipoff at 8pm and airing on ESPN+.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves are set to play on Christmas Day in the late game. They’ll be in Denver, CO at Ball Arena taking on the Denver Nuggets. Tipoff will be at approximately 9:30pm on ABC/ESPN. They also see action on Saturday, Dec. 27 when they return home to Minneapolis, MN. They’ll host the Brooklyn Nets at the Target Center at 7pm.

NFL

The slate is full over the holiday weekend for NFL games. On Christmas Day, you’ve got a trio of games. It’ll be the Dallas Cowboys at the Washington Commanders in Landover, MD at Northwest Stadium with kickoff at Noon on Netflix. Followed by the Detroit Lions at the Minnesota Vikings in Minneapolis, MN at U.S. Bank Stadium with kickoff at 3:30pm on Netflix. Ending the day will be the Denver Broncos at the Kansas City Chiefs in Kansas City, MO on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium with kickoff at 7:15pm. Then a pair of games are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 27 as well. It’ll be the Houston Texans at the Los Angeles Chargers in Inglewood, CA at SoFi Stadium with kickoff at 3:30pm on NFL Network. Then it’ll be the Baltimore Ravens at the Green Bay Packers in Green Bay, WI at Lambeau Field with kickoff at 7pm on Peacock.
