Deb Everson Takes Out Petition to Seek Re-Election to Mitchell School Board

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Mitchell School Board member Deb Everson has taken out a nominating petition to seek re-election to the lone seat up this year on the five-member board.

Nominating petitions are available through March 24. If more than one candidate returns a valid petition, the school board election will be held June 2, 2026, alongside the primary election. If only one valid petition is filed, the seat will be filled without a vote.

Mitchell school board terms are three years, and candidates must live within the Mitchell School District.
