MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Property tax reform will be a hot topic when South Dakota legislators return to Pierre next year. District 8 Senator Casey Crabtree of Madison says he expects to see several competing proposals come before lawmakers. He says the challenge will be balancing relief for taxpayers while making sure schools and counties have enough funding to operate.
