MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The Mitchell High School marching band took the spotlight in Florida on Valentine’s Day, performing at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

Nearly 100 Mitchell students marched down Main Street U.S.A. in front of thousands as part of a six-day trip, according to reporting from the Mitchell Republic.

Band leaders said the Disney performance is a tradition the program typically participates in about every four years.
