MLB

The Minnesota Twins finished their latest series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. After dropping their first game, Minnesota rallied and got a pair of wins this weekend. Yesterday they won, 4-2 due to Alex Jackson’s single which tied the game in the seventh and the go-ahead run scored on an error. This makes it their third straight series win, their longest streak all season, and they have now won eight of their last 11 games. The Twins are going to be playing again tonight and hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at Target Field at 6:40pm on MLBTV.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx battled with the Washington Mystics yesterday but could not continue their winning ways. They had a lead going into the fourth quarter, but Washington stormed back with a 28-point fourth quarter to win the game 84-79. Minnesota shot just 4-for-21 (19%) from deep in the loss and they are now 13-4 overall.
