MLB

The Minnesota Twins begin a new series tonight when they go to New York to face the Yankees. The Twins have won five of the last six series contests, but the Yankees have the third most road wins in the MLB (26) so it could go either way. Game start time will be at 6:05pm on MLBTV in Yankee Stadium.

WNBA

The Minnesota Lynx will see the court tonight for the only time over the weekend. Minnesota has won 13 of their last 15 games and have their foot on the gas. They’ll make their way over to New York to face the Liberty at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Tipoff will be at 6:30pm on ION. Additionally, the Lynx had guard Olivia Miles and forward Natasha Howard named as All-Star starters yesterday afternoon. Miles was the only rookie named a starter.
