Sioux Falls Man and Woman Arrested After Parking Dispute Leads to Aggravated Assault, DWI, and Weapons Charges

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Sioux Falls Police have arrested a man and a woman on aggravated assault charges after a weekend incident in the 200 block of North Fairfax avenue. It began with an argument over parking and escalated to a woman producing a handgun and threatening to shoot two men. Police Sergeant Aaron Benson says the woman got into a pickup with a man. 48 year old Mary Loyer and 43-year old Raymond Shimel were both arrested on the aggravated assault charges, as well as DWI and weapons charges.
