SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) At 95 years old, Don Phillips of Sioux Falls is rewriting the record books at the National Senior Games in Iowa. Competing in his age division, Phillips captured gold across multiple events, including sprints and shot put, and set national records in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. A Korean War veteran and retired veterinarian, he credits his success to consistent training at Active Generations and a focus on strength work. Later this year, Phillips and his wife will also mark 72 years of marriage. For more Government stories from MitchellNow.com, Click Here.
