Mitchell Volleyball

The No. 5 Kernel volleyball team took on Sioux Falls Washington here in Mitchell last night. It did not go as planned for Mitchell against SF Washington and they ended falling, 3-0. Next, the Kernels will hit the road to Brandon Valley to take on the Lynx on Nov. 4.

DWU Soccer

The Tiger men’s soccer team will keep themselves busy with a match on the road tomorrow afternoon. They’ll visit the Morningside Mustangs to begin Great Plains Athletic Conference Tournament play. DWU is the 5 seed and Morningside is the 4 seed. The match will be played at Elwood Olson Stadium in Sioux City, Iowa and begin at 1pm.

DWU Football

The Tiger football team is also on the road tomorrow afternoon. They’ll travel to Yankton to face the Mount Marty Lancers at Crane-Youngworth Field and kicks off at 1pm.

SDSU Football

The No. 4 Jackrabbit football team will be playing back at home this weekend. After a tough loss last week to No. 1 NDSU 38-7, they’re looking to bounce back in the game against Indiana State tomorrow afternoon. They’ll be at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium and the game kicks off at 2pm on ESPN+.

NFL

Thursday Night Football had the Baltimore Ravens against the Miami Dolphins last night. It was the Lamar Jackson show in his return to the field. He went 18-for-23 passing (78.3%) and threw for 204 yards and four passing touchdowns. The Ravens beat the Dolphins on TNF, 28-6.

MLB

The World Series Game 6 goes down tonight between the No. 1 seed Toronto Blue Jays and the No. 3 seed Los Angeles Dodgers. It will begin at 7pm on FOX.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves (2-3) will get back to the court tomorrow afternoon. They’ll be on the road in Charlotte, NC to take on the Charlotte Hornets (2-3) at the Spectrum Center. The game will tipoff at 5pm.
