Tonight’s Basketball Games

Mitchell Basketball

The No. 4 Kernel boys basketball team gets back to the court tomorrow. They will be in the Mitchell high school hosting the Harrisburg Tigers. The freshman and JV will play at 4pm with freshman in the auxiliary gym and JV in the main gym. Sophomores will play at 5:15pm in the main gym. Ending the night is the varsity at 7pm in the main gym.

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings played their last game of the season last night when they hosted the Green Bay Packers at U.S. Bank Stadium. They ended the year on a high note as they emerged with a 16-3 victory. It was the leg of Will Reichard that got them the win as he was 3-for-3 on field goals, giving them nine of their 16 points. Despite all the injuries for Minnesota, they finished the season with a winning record of 9-8 overall.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves were in Washington, DC last night facing the Washington Wizards. They got themselves a dominant win, blowing out the Wizards, 141-115. Anthony Edwards led the way with 35 points, and Rudy Gobert added an 18-point & 14-rebound double-double. They improved to 23-13 overall. Their next game will be tomorrow when they host the Miami Heat.
