Mitchell Volleyball

The No. 5 Kernel volleyball team returns home tomorrow night for a rivalry matchup. They’ll be playing in the MHS gyms against the Huron Tigers. Freshmen and JV play at 4:30pm, sophomores at 5:30pm and varsity at 6:30pm.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams are set to begin their season tomorrow. The No. 9 ranked women’s basketball team will travel to Des Moines, Iowa to take on Drake University. They will play in the Knapp Center at 6pm.For the men, they will open their season at home in the World’s Only Corn Palace. They’ll host Grand View in Mitchell at 6pm under first year Head Coach, Sam Nicholson.

DWU Volleyball

The (RV) Tiger volleyball team will be having a match here in Mitchell for their Senior Night. They’ll be in Christen Athletic Center taking on No. 24 Dakota State at 7pm.

NFL

The NFL will have Monday Night Football action tonight. Airing on ABC/ESPN, it’ll be the Washington Commanders (3-4) on the road at the Kansas City Chiefs (4-3). The game will kick off at 7:15pm.

MLB

The World Series is tied at 1-1 after Saturday’s game. Game 3 between the No. 1 seed Toronto Blue Jays and the No. 3 seed Los Angeles Dodgers will be at Dodger Stadium in LA. It will begin at 7pm tonight on FOX.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves (2-1) are back in action tonight. They’ll be at home hosting the Denver Nuggets (1-1) at Target Center. The game will air on Peacock and begin at 8:30pm.
