Tonight’s Basketball Games

SDSU Basketball

The (RV) Jackrabbit women’s basketball team took on No. 2 Texas yesterday afternoon in Brookings, SD at First Bank & Trust Arena. The No. 2 in the nation was as advertised, and they took care of SDSU with no problem and won, 70-51. Brooklyn Meyer led the Jackrabbits in scoring with 20 points. Jackrabbit WBB won’t return to the court until Jan. 1, and Jackrabbit MBB won’t play until next Monday when they face Arizona on the road. 

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings took on the New York Giants on the road for their game this week and got a win, but it came at a cost. Minnesota won, 16-13, but lost J.J. McCarthy to a hand injury in the process. It’s unclear if he will play in the team’s final two games of the season. Tonight, you’ve got Monday Night Football between the San Francisco 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts. The game will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN and kickoff will be at 7:15pm on ABC/ESPN. 

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves hosted the Milwaukee Bucks last night at home and came away with a 103-100 win. Anthony Edwards led the way with 24 points, and he was one of six players in double figures. Minnesota improved to 19-10 overall. The Timberwolves will play again at home tomorrow night when they host the New York Knicks at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. Tipoff will be at 7pm on NBA League Pass.
