Mitchell Volleyball

The No. 8 seed Kernel volleyball team is at home tonight for SoDak16 action. They will host the No. 9 seed Spearfish Spartans in the Auxiliary Gym at the Mitchell high school at 6pm.

DWU Volleyball

The No. 4 seed Tiger volleyball team competed in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament last night against the No. 1 seed Northwestern Red Raiders. It was a hard-fought match between the two teams, but they fell to the Red Raiders 3-0 and were eliminated from the tournament. Additionally, DWU is now ranked No. 25 in the nation. They will now wait and see if they make the National Tournament. Additionally, ahead of the match. Kayliegh Hybertson was named the Setter-of-the-Week in the GPAC, and Elizabeth Tyler was named the Defender-of-the-Week.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger men’s basketball team played at home last night in the World’s Only Corn Palace against the Valley City State Vikings. It was a back-and-forth game all night long, but the Vikings ended up besting the Tigers and winning it, 88-84. DWU falls to 3-2 overall.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team competed last night and both teams will be playing again soon as the season presses on. Last night, the men’s basketball team traveled to Eugene, OR to face the Oregon Ducks. They did all they could, but in the end, it was the Ducks who took the win, 83-69. The Jackrabbit men are now 2-2. The (RV) Jackrabbit women’s basketball team (3-0) are set to play again this Saturday in Rapid City, SD against Montana (1-2). The game will air on the Summit League Network and begin at 6pm MT/7pm CT.

NFL

Thursday Night Football begins week 11 in the NFL tonight. You’ll have the New York Jets (2-7) at the New England Patriots (8-2) at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. It will air on Prime Video with kickoff at 7:15pm.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves (7-4) will be off until they have NBA Cup – Group Play competition tomorrow. They will take on the Sacramento Kings in the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN at 7pm.
