Mitchell Basketball

The Kernel basketball teams begin their season tonight on the road. They’re over in Watertown at Watertown high school to open the season with all teams in action facing the Arrows. **UPDATE – TIME CHANGE**

At 3:45pm the sophomore boys will play and so will the girls JV team. Then at 5:15pm it’ll be the freshman and JV boys playing. At 6:45pm the varsity games begin as the girls will face the Watertown girls (0-1) and then the boys varsity will follow and play the Watertown boys (1-0) at 8pm.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger men’s basketball team (5-7) are at home tomorrow night hosting the No. 16 Northwestern Red Raiders (12-3) in the World’s Only Corn Palace. They are the only ones in action, and the game will tipoff at 7pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team took on Wyoming last night at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD. A strong start to the game by the Cowboys with a 40-29 lead at half ended up being too hot of a start for the Jackrabbits to rally back from. They ended up losing, 87-72. Kalen Garry led SDSU with 15 points.

NFL

Monday Night Football went down last night between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Miami Dolphins. It was a much-needed win for the Steelers and they got it, winning by a score of 28-15. Aaron Rodgers went 23-for-27 passing, threw for 224 yards and had two touchdown passes.

NBA

The NBA Cup Championship game is tonight between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks. The game will be played in Las Vegas, NV at T-Mobile Arena with tipoff set for 7:30pm on Prime Video.
