Sturgis and Deadwood Police Seize Drugs and Firearms in Coordinated Operation

Sturgis, SD – In a coordinated effort to keep the community safe, the Sturgis Police Department and Deadwood Police Department executed a search warrant at a Sturgis residence, uncovering a significant cache of illegal drugs and firearms.

Officers seized several pounds of marijuana, around 67 grams of cocaine, 203 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, as well as THC edibles, THC wax, and multiple firearms.

“This operation highlights the strong collaboration between local law enforcement agencies and our ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, drug-free communities,” said a spokesperson for the departments.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending against the individuals involved. No further information is being released at this time.
