MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The U.S. Marshals Service has added a man from South Dakota to its 15 most wanted list.

The agency has been looking for David Allen Bonness since 2013, but he has gone uncaptured over that time. A $25,000 reward is being posted for anyone that provides information that assists in Bonness’ arrest. Authorities urge caution, though. Bonness is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

Bonness is white with brown hair. He stands 5’9” and weighs roughly 180 pounds. Bonness has green eyes and is now 58 years old. In addition to his real name of Bonness, he could possibly be using the alias, David Nuse.

He was accused in 2008 by a then-17-year-old girl of sexually abusing her for years. Bonness went to the station for questioning and was asked for a DNA sample. He stopped the interview and was allowed to leave. When authorities got a search warrant for his home the next day, Bonness had fled.

Tips can be reported to 1-877-WANTED2 (926-8332) or online at usmarshals.gov/tips.
