MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The 437 Project is coming to Mitchell this weekend to raise awareness and funds for mental health and suicide prevention. Twelve runners will cover 437 miles across South Dakota from September 25th through the 28th. The public can meet the runners during a Community Welcome Event at the Corn Palace on Saturday night from 7 to 8 p.m. According to a press release, last year, the project raised more than $300,000 for the Helpline Center, the state’s only accredited suicide crisis center.
