TV star and hit singer with SD connection passes away

A TV star and hit singer with a South Dakota connection has passed away. David Soul died in London yesterday. Soul was a star on the 1970’s hit TV series Starsky and Hutch. He also recorded a worldwide Number 1 hit single called “Don’t Give Up On Us.” Soul graduated from Sioux Falls Washington High School in the early 1960’s and attended Augustana College for two years where his father taught political science and history. David Soul was 80 years old.
