Utility Work Will Leave Some Mitchell Homes Without Water Monday

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Most of the homes near Lakeview Municipal Golf Course will be without water on Monday.

  1. Mitchell city officials say utility work is scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on an area bordered by West 23rd Avenue, Pebble Beach Road, North Ohlman Street, and Indian Village Road. Only Kippes Cove and the cemetery will be spared from the shutoff.

The release did not mention the reason for the work. Valve replacements were completed near South Ohlman and West Havens Avenue in early May, which caused water shutoffs in that area at the time.
